These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of rooteddevstudio.com and the website services provided by Rooted Dev Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Separate terms apply to software subscriptions, and custom-development projects may be governed by a proposal, statement of work, service agreement, or other contract.
Acceptable website use
You may use this website for lawful informational, purchasing, account, documentation, and support purposes. You may not interfere with the site, probe or bypass security, submit malicious or deceptive material, overload a service, impersonate another person, misuse another customer’s account or license credentials, scrape protected content, or use the website in violation of law.
Intellectual property and content use
Except for third-party material and open-source software governed by their own licenses, the site content and original Rooted Dev Studio materials are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These materials include original written content, branding, graphics, documentation, screenshots, product names, software code, and design assets.
You may view and use public site content for ordinary personal or business evaluation. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, remove attribution from, or create misleading copies of Rooted Dev Studio branding or site content without permission or another applicable legal right. These site-content restrictions do not override the GPL or another open-source license that applies to distributed software code.
Software, subscriptions, and license keys
Rooted Forms, Rooted Forms Pro, Rooted Security, and Rooted Security Pro are distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later. The GPL provides rights to run, study, modify, copy, and redistribute covered software under its terms. A paid subscription does not transfer Rooted Dev Studio’s copyright or trademark ownership.
A paid subscription provides a license-key entitlement for the activation limit and term displayed at purchase, together with protected downloads, eligible updates, and support while the subscription and license are active. License keys, hosted fulfillment systems, and customer-account credentials may not be published, sold, shared, or used to bypass activation limits. Development services
Website and custom-development information on this site is general. A particular project’s scope, fees, schedule, responsibilities, acceptance, cancellation, ownership, and ongoing support are controlled by the separate written agreement for that engagement. These Terms do not replace that agreement.
Third-party services and links
The website and products may reference or interact with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Stripe, web hosts, email providers, browsers, and other third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable. External links are provided for convenience and do not constitute control or endorsement.
WordPress and WooCommerce are trademarks of their respective owners. Shopify and Stripe are trademarks of their respective owners. Rooted Dev Studio is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, certified by, or endorsed by those trademark owners.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue website or service features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every environment, or that all information will always be error-free or current. We may restrict access to protect security, address fraud or nonpayment, or respond to a material violation of these Terms.
Security and product results
Security tools and development practices can reduce risk and strengthen a site’s security posture, but no website or software can be guaranteed secure or immune from compromise. Customers remain responsible for appropriate hosting, access controls, backups, updates, monitoring, and incident response.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its public content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee a particular business, ranking, security, compatibility, or availability result. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rooted Dev Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the public website. Any liability connected with a purchased product or development service is also subject to the applicable product terms or project agreement. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.
Governing framework
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise. This wording preserves the governing framework already published by Rooted Dev Studio; it does not create or publish a street address.
Copyright concerns
If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own, send a clear description of the work, the material at issue, the page URL, your contact information, and a statement that the report is made in good faith to support@rooteddevstudio.com. Rooted Dev Studio has not represented that it maintains a registered DMCA agent.
